What’s new this semester?
As we all
know, Covid19 has made it necessary to change many aspects of our lives quite a
bit!
I’m very
happy about the fact that it’s possible to have face-to-face classes again,
although we will need to obey some “Corona rules”: Keep a distance, do not change the positions of the tables in the
classroom, wear a face mask when you’re not sitting at your table, and of
course wash your hands regularly!
At the
moment, it is possible to have normal face-to-face classes in the course room
at VHS. However, in case of a second lockdown, I’m offering to continue our
classes online on my e-learning platform (www.berniesenglish.com) and in video chats on Zoom for those students who are interested. Please complete the form at the end of this
paper, so I know who would be interested, and I can contact you if necessary.

From this semester, you will always find the
HOMEWORK online – but I will also hand it out on paper if you prefer. Please
try to do the homework, as it is a preparation for our NEXT LESSON!
We
will not be working with a book.
You
will receive extra handouts and copies from me.
If you would like to get some extra
practice, I can give you additional access to my e-learning platform (www.berniesenglish.com): There you will find extra tasks for the topics we cover in class
every week, as well as more related grammar or vocabulary.
The
price for this extra access would be € 25 (which is less than €2/week).
