Script of the recording:

Don’t know if you can remember me saying last week that I just hadn’t got anything sorted.

I’ve been busy. But this week I have made some great, big strides in that direction.

So I finally booked a woman to put my tree up and my dec’s. Before youse all come forth and want my head on a spike – I’m sorry! I know... I’m sorry... I know I should do it myself, I know it’s the magic of Christmas, and all that. But I love going home to it all done. Just like the elves did it, you know? That’s what I love.

And we’ve gone for red and blue. I did want browns and neutrals, which I know, again, is not very Christmassy, but I fancied a really aesthetic vibe. But apparently I’m not the only one and they’ve all sold out, wholesaler had nothing.

So I’m going very tradish’ – red, blue, it’s a bit of a Ralph Lauren feel, but it is lovely and I’m very excited. More excited about the fact that I don’t have to do it myself, if I’m honest.
