BFI A2.1 - Wed 25 Mar

Today's lesson:

- grammar: questions (book p 9)

There are 4 types of questions, according to the type of auxiliary verb (Hilfsverb):

1. Questions with "am, is, are, was, were"
2. Questions with MODAL VERBS ("can, may, must, could, would, should, might, shall, will")
3. Questions with "have / has + 3rd form (past participle)"

4. Questions with "do / does / did"

You can ONLY use ONE type of auxiliary verb in a question - you CANNOT MIX the auxiliary verbs!

ONLY use "do / does / did" if you have NO OTHER auxiliary verb & NO 3rd FORM!
