VHS A1.2 (West) - Tue 14 Oct

Today's lesson:

- book p 52: reading "Couchsurfing"
- book p 53: listening "Dave's flat"

- revision: There is... / There are... / There isn't a... / There aren't any...

- a / an

We use "an" (NOT "a") before words beginning in A, E, I, O, (U)

an apple                  a chocolate
an e-mail                a glass of milk
an ice cream               ...
an orange

Be careful!

an hour    (because we don't say the H in hour)
a university (because we say J at the beginning of the word university)

Homework:

Write a short text (5-10 sentences): "Welcome to my living room!"
You can use Dave's text (page 162, 4b) as an example.
