What we did:

- book page 58/59 (revision: have to; qualities)
- book page 62, 66: "Ingrid & Anne's story" Reading, writing
- short revision: the "will" future

We use "will" & "won't" (= will not) to speak about the future.

I will visit my English friend next August.
Will you stay in a hotel or in a bed and breakfast?
I won't forget to send you a postcard!


Homework:

- Write a short text: "What will happen when Ingrid arrives at the airport in London?"
Remember what we have read so far about Ingrid and Anne's story. Continue the story - what will happen next?
- Study the "ough"-text so that you can read it out loud next lesson!

The ship ploughed

                   lough as

               though it had

                 sought the wrong course by an

          unthoughtful pilot who was

           hiccoughing and

                 coughing

          thoroughly and was presumably going to be

               sloughed off by his fleet commander.
