B: What do you do, Simon?
S: I work in a car factory.
B: Here, in Oxford?
S: Well, it’s not here in the
city centre, but it’s in Oxford. In Cowley.
B: In a car factory. That’s
interesting. Do you work with robots?
S: Robots? No, I don’t. I don’t
work in the factory. I work in the office, with a computer.
B: Ah, yes. I work a lot with
a computer, too. I don’t like it.
S: Oh, really? I like
computers. And I love cars. So my work is very interesting.
B: Do you start work early?
S: No, not really very early.
I start at nine o’clock. I work from nine to five. The factory workers start
very early.
B: Can I go and see the
factory? I’d like to interview people about their jobs.
S: Well, I’ll ask my boss and
see if it’s ok.
B: Thanks a lot, Simon.
