Today's lesson:

Grammar: Tenses (I)

- Present Simple & Progressive
- Past Simple & Progressive

Homework:

- You have been given two "picture cards" in our lesson.
  (If you weren't here, you can choose any two cards from here.)
  Using your cards, write a short story, using Past Simple & Past Progressive.
  (You can also add your own ideas.)
  You should use the following three situations:

- Two or more actions that happened ONE AFTER ANOTHER:
|---1---| + |---2---| + |---3---|
(1) He woke up,
(2) got out of bed and
(3) had a shower.

- A SHORTER action interrupting a LONGER action:

(1) The sun was shining(2) when I woke up.

- Two (or more) actions happening simultaneously (=at the same time):

(1) While Sandy was having a shower,

(3) Alicia was chatting with the neighbour.
