The most important bits of vocabulary:
hobby - an activity you enjoy doing in your free time; e.g. painting
pastime - something you do when you have nothing better to do; e.g. having a rest
chore - housework and other day-to-day work that needs to be done; e.g. doing the dishes
spring to life - sprießen
"In spring, the flowers spring to life."
take a nap / have a rest - ein Nickerchen machen / sich ausruhen
Homework:
- Write a short text: Imagine you are doing one of the four activities in the pictures on page 52, 2a.
